Kilchoman Sanaig is an Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the island of Islay, Scotland, with a rich and intense character. It combines approximately 70% Oloroso Sherry and 30% Bourbon casks, giving it a stronger sherry influence than Machir Bay. The profile brings together dried fruit, spices, citrus freshness and Kilchoman’s distinctive peat smoke. It is bottled as a No Age Statement expression at 46% ABV, using malt peated to 50 PPM.

Aroma

Rich and fragrant, with heather, raisins, pear and orange peel. Stone fruits, mixed spices and rich peat smoke gradually develop.

Taste

Full and intense, with overripe plums, red cherries and hints of citrus. Rich barbecue peat smoke combines with toffee, oak and dark chocolate.

Finish

Long and full-bodied, with mixed fruit, caramel, cinnamon and clove. Layers of brown sugar, spice and peat smoke create a lingering sweet finish.
