The Irishman Caribbean Cask is a premium Irish Whiskey combining Single Malt and Single Pot Still whiskey made from Irish barley and triple distilled. After initial maturation in American oak Bourbon casks, the whiskey is finished for six months in Chairman’s Reserve Caribbean rum casks from Saint Lucia. This additional maturation adds rich tropical fruit and sweet rum-driven character. It is bottled without chill filtration at 46% ABV.

Aroma

Rich and exotic, with Caribbean rum, ripe apricots and summer fruits. Sweet spice and delicate caramel notes gradually develop.

Taste

Full and fruity, with abundant tropical fruit and lively spice. Notes of banana, figs and a touch of citrus freshness develop on the palate.

Finish

Long and warming, with fig, banana, vanilla and oak spices. The rum influence remains distinctive, creating a pronounced Caribbean character.
